Planning your trip to Busch Gardens this summer? You may already know about our amazing rides and shows, and sure -- you just can’t wait to experience them.
You may be thinking that after a day in the park, leaving at 6p.m. would be the best way to go. Well, I’m here to tell you about Summer Nights and, in my opinion, the three reasons why it to stay late every night this summer.
Reason #1: Busch Gardens is a whole different place at night.
At 6 PM every night, the park welcomes the night by featuring LIVE DJ’S and all your favorite songs from the current radio charts. And once the sun goes down, that’s when the good stuff happens. Like riding Cheetah Hunt in the dark! Or riding on the Serengeti Express and see what the animals are up to at night. Sometimes the lines for rides at night can be quite long. Purchase a Quick Queue and just breeze right past the lines.
Reason #2: Kinetix starts as soon as the park closes.
That’s right. It starts when the park closes. On weekdays, the park closes at 9. Kinetix starts at 9! But just what is Kinetix? To me, Kinetix is the best show you will ever see in a theme park. This energizing show includes live musicians, singers, dancers and performance artists from around the world. You will be amazed at how often your jaw will drop. Here is a tip: The best seats for Kinetix is in the front/middle, but the finale is in the back of Gwazi Park. If you sit off to one of the sides, the tech booth for the show will not be in your way completely and you will have a perfect view. Right after Kinetix ends, the park has one more “Bang” up its sleeve.
Reason # 3. Fireworks every single night!
And these are not your ordinary fireworks. This is a full firework spectacular set to current top 40 hits. Every night the fireworks team sets it up and gets it ready for the amazing fireworks finale. And if your mom only says fireworks are only for celebrations, she was right! We are celebrating summer!
