Wildlife has long been an inspiration to the world of fashion,
and no matter what the era, each pattern seems to make its appearance.
One of our favorite wild inspirations?

Peacocks!
Busch Gardens currently has two species of peacocks who call Bird Gardens home:
Indian Peacocks: 2 white females, 1 blue female, and 1 white male...

...and Javan Peacock chicks that have been adopted by one of the white female Indian Peacocks.
(FYI, The parents of the chicks reside in Jungala!)
The Javan Peacock (also referred to as the "Java" or "Green" Peacock) has the vibrant coloration that we've some to know and love, but patterning that's a bit more unusual.
Here are some photos of what our Javan Peacock chicks will look as they grow up...

Fantastic...

...and fierce!
While you can see these amazing animals in Bird Gardens, peacock patterns are EVERYWHERE in the Moroccan Village, just inside the entrance to the park.
