Parking at Busch Gardens: Tips from an Insider

It’s another beautiful summer day and you’re excited to be spending it at Busch Gardens, right?! First thing’s first, let’s talk about parking. Now, it may be something we take for granted.. someone directing your car to a parking spot in a parking lot and then you get on a courtesy tram to take you to the entrance to really get your day started. You have the option of parking in:

  • General Parking
  • Handicap Parking
  • Preferred Parking
  • Valet Parking

General Parking

This parking option is the most economical and provides a courtesy tram to take you to and from the General Parking Lots. They are located across the street from the park. We have plenty of signs to guide you! General Parking is included in One-year, Two-year, and Platinum Pass Memberships. Fun Cards are excluded.

Handicap Parking

If you have a blue tag that permits you to park in handicap spaces, just inform the toll booth attendant and they will give you clear instruction as to where to go. Handicap Parking is located on the same side of the street as the park itself; however, all guests needing to park in this lot must go through the toll booths on the opposite side of the street. From there, you will be directed to an underground tunnel that will take you across, I mean, under the street. The fee for Handicap Parking is no more than General Parking. Thus, the fee is waived for our One-year, Two-year, and Platinum Pass Members. Handicap Parking is also based up availability.

Preferred Parking

This parking option is for our guests who would prefer to park on the same side of the street as the park itself and is within reasonable walking distance to the front gate. Just ask about it at the toll booths for more information! Preferred Parking is included with Platinum Pass Memberships, based on availability. One-Year and Two-Year Pass Members can receive a hefty discount!

Valet Parking

This parking option gets you as close to the park entrance as possible, with minimal walking. Valet parking can be accessed from either side of the lots and any attendant can direct you to Valet parking by simply following the color coded lines on the road. Valet Parking offers a discount for its One-year, Two-year, and Platinum Pass Members.
