Kid-Centric Shows at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

Busch Gardens has fast roller coasters, music festivals, and shows with the most talented singers and dancers around. However, if you have little ones in your family, they may not be able to appreciate some of those things yet. That’s why I’ll tell you the three kid-friendly shows you must see next time you're at the park.

If you have infants, toddlers or young children, Sesame Street Safari of Fun should be the first stop on your schedule. Most kids know all the Sesame Street characters and the A is for Africa show, Elmo, Zoe, Cookie Monster, Abby Cadabby and Grover teach children about different African animals while singing, dancing and interacting with the audience.

If you plan on going to see the show, make sure you check out the Sesame Street Safari of Fun Preschool Pass before you go. Children five and younger will be able to visit both Busch Gardens Tampa and SeaWorld Orlando for free for the entire year.

You can also enjoy the new Sesame Street Safari of Fun Family Buffet. Meet the characters of Sesame Street while you eat all-you-care-to-eat!

Another show that is sure to keep the whole family interested is Critter Castaways. This is actually the show that I perform in!

Featuring a cast of not only human actors but actors of the furry and feathered variety, Critter Castaways will capture your attention and keep you talking about the amazing animals long after you have left the theater.

In the show, guests will see a cat climbing upside-down on a rope, dogs leaping over one another, and a bird playing dead. And, if you don’t know what a binturong is, then you should definitely check out this show.

Next time you are at Jungala -- In the back of the park, between the tigers and the orangutans, guests can witness a show with a 10-foot-tall ostrich, crane and walking stick as well as a human-sized jumping frog. Kareebu Jungala is the perfect chance to get some great family photos with Zuri the Ostrich, Hakim the Walking Stick, Kodok the Frog, and Okashii the Crane. When you go, make sure to clear a big area for them in the plaza because they need a lot of space to dance.

No matter what you do at Busch Gardens Tampa, rest assured your family will have a blast! Between the rides (both big and small), the animals and the shows, Busch Gardens has something for guests of all ages. And as always, make sure to check the park map for show times
