This January I began working in the Cheetah Hunt Area of the park, and boy was I excited! It was, and still is, a true learning experience. I learned about all the ride’s safety systems, the extensive and sensitive maintenance it required on a daily basis, and even all the brand new technology that Intamin, the ride manufacturer, showcased on our ride; the use of repelling magnets as the main propulsion method.

First of all, congratulations to the six finalists of the Snyder’s of Hanover Pretzel Coaster Build-Off! This Saturday, June 4, 2011 they will build Cheetah Hunt coaster replicas completely out of Snyder’s of Hanover Pretzels - and a little bit of hot glue - to celebrate the grand opening of Busch Gardens’ all-new mega-attraction.

Busch Gardens’ Design & Engineering team has officially launched Florida’s first triple-launch coaster for the first time.
