The NEW Roller Coaster Experience Tour takes you behind-the-scenes and heart-poundingly close to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay's awesome collection of world-class thrill rides.
A few weeks ago, guests had the unique opportunity to watch through floor-to-ceiling glass walls at the Animal Care Center as Veterinarian Dr. Pete Black performed an endoscopic exam on a female Grevy’s zebra. -- AND we want to share a few photos from the exam with you!
The Animal Care Center has been busy over the past few weeks. From treating a venomous timber rattlesnake to performing a pre-shipment exam on a cheetah and everything in between, Busch Gardens’ more than 2,000 animals have kept our veterinary team on their toes.
Busch Gardens’ Animal Care Center opened to the public at the end of January and some noteworthy procedures have taken place in guest view since then. In the treatment center, guests watch through floor-to-ceiling glass walls as Busch Gardens’ skilled veterinarians do preventative checkups, treatments and surgeries on animals. The most recent procedure was a pre-shipment exam for a 2 1/2 year-old cheetah named Juno.
Santa's elves (with the help of our Horticulture team) have been hard at work, around the clock, to adorn the park with bright and colorful holiday cheer.

Our employee spotlight this week is on Erich Freeman. Erich is a Stage Manager for our Entertainment department and has been with the park for over 15 years. Erich is known for always walking around with a huge smile and a great attitude.
