Recently the team at the Animal Care Center has taken their skills in the kitchen to a whole new level!

A recent culinary trend for our creative Animal Care team has been using items normally found in our animals' diets (fruits and veggies) -- and presenting them in ways that would please the pickiest of palates. This is a unique form of enrichment for the animals, and it has been lots of fun for our team of animal care specialists and our guests.

Baby Emu Update

Zebra Receives Endoscopic Exam At The Animal Care Center

A large zebra on a surgical table is not your everyday sighting!

A few weeks ago, guests had the unique opportunity to watch through floor-to-ceiling glass walls at the Animal Care Center as Veterinarian Dr. Pete Black performed an endoscopic exam on a female Grevy’s zebra. -- AND we want to share a few photos from the exam with you!
