...but they've grown quite a bit!

Here’s a story brought to our attention by fellow educator Megan McKee, illustrating that Christmas may be over, but the spirit of giving continues in the most amazing ways.

While many families celebrated Christmas morning amidst a hurricane of wrapping paper, ribbons, bags and bows, one young lady’s lap was nearly empty, but her heart was full.

It has several months since our baby emus have hatched, and boy have they grown!

These two emus were the first baby birds to hatch at our brand new Animal Care Center. If you didn’t get a chance to see them hatch, I work very closely with these birds and I am glad to give you an insider's explanation of what happened....
