Busch Gardens Tampa has been providing amazing camps led by expert educators for over 20 years. But for the second summer in a row, campers entering ninth through twelfth grades will leave camp with more than photos, new friends, and great memories; they’ll have earned school credit too!
Day Camp now has an extension program called Counselor-In-Training (CIT) designed for students who exhibit a strong desire to work with children and teach others about the natural world while gaining valuable career experience. This week long program offers a real opportunity to learn from the best.
Expert educators will share their experience and knowledge on topics from “Leadership” to “Working with Animals”. Counselors-In-Training (CIT’s) will complete a specialized training course and participate side by side with our Camp Counselors during our summer day camp programs.
High School Resident Camps offer unique 5 or 9 night programs for those interested in the animal-care field, where they'll work side-by-side with animal experts!
These camps offer invaluable opportunities to gain firsthand experience while making new friends and having fun!
High school credit for having the summer of their lives?!? Sounds good to me!
