Hola! My name is Jose Dominguez. I work in the Education & Conservation Dept at Busch Gardens. I have always had a passion for animals but particularly for educating people about them. I went to the University of North Carolina at Wilmington to study Marine Biology and Chemistry. You might ask, “How did I study fish and end up working at Busch Gardens?” Well, I started working at Busch Gardens the summer of 2006 as a camp counselor for our Adventure Camps. I highly recommend coming to camp here if you are interested in working in a zoo it will change your life. It did for me!) For the next five years I worked with elephants, hornbills and lemurs. Today I still call Busch Gardens Tampa home and still enjoy educating guests about our amazing animals at our Animal Care Center. So anytime you’re in the neighborhood stop by and say hello!
