Animal Ambassador Spotlight: Three Banded Armadillo Baby!

Baby Armadillo at Jambo Junction

Jambo Junction has recently welcomed a new addition to our three banded armadillo family. Our duo has now become a trio thanks to proud parents, Zowie and Ollie. Born June 21, 2012 the baby was the size of a golf ball, now a month later has grown to be the size of a tennis ball. When full grown adult armadillo’s are roughly the size of a softball and believe or not there are species that are even smaller than the three banded armadillo!
